Cholesterol is a problem for the living or the molecule that allow it to survive? Some consideration on cell membranes
Summary
This paper contains the assumptions and considerations on the role of cholesterol in cell membranes both in regard to the nutritional aspects and about the stages of life. It examines the different conditions of interaction of cholesterol and fatty acids on cell membrane functions, about the oxidation processes, about cholesterol synthesis, and about the necessary role of balance to ensure the best functionality both at biochemical and molecular level.
