The Food Museums of the Province of Parma and the enhancement of territorial value
Summary
The Food Museums of the Province of Parma, which were started in 1999, were designed according to a unique guideline: to promote the knowledge, history and commercialization of the local products and their relationship with the territory. Included as part of the food and wine guided tours of the Parma area, they showcase the local production places and favor the cultural growth of both residents and tourists. Knowledge is at the base of a correct food choice and nutritional education.
