RiassuntoLa città di Parma venne fondata nel 183 a.C. nella valle del Po e il suo territorio venne centuriato e coltivato. Anche qui l’alimentazione in epoca romana era principalmente basata sul consumo di cereali, olio e vino. I ritrovamenti archeologici rivelano la presenza di coltivazioni di cereali e vigneti e l’allevamento di pecore e maiali.

Summary
The city of Parma was founded (183 b.C.) in Po river valley and its territory was divided into centurie, assignated and cultivated. Here also the Roman diet was mainly based on grain, oil and wine. Archaeological evidence show cultivation of cereals as well as grape-vines and sheep and porc - breeding.
