Registration is now open for the 6th IDF Nutrition and Health Symposium 2026, entitled “Lactose 360° – From biology to emerging benefits”.

Organized by the International Dairy Federation (IDF), the symposium will take place online on 21 May 2026.

The event will provide an evidence-based overview of lactose physiology, lactose digestion and intolerance, gut microbiota, metabolic health, and clinical nutrition. The scientific programme will also explore emerging research on the nutritional and clinical implications of lactose in human health.

Two live sessions featuring the same scientific programme will be available:

Session 1: 07:00–09:00 CEST
Session 2: 16:00–18:00 CEST

The symposium brings together international expertise in nutrition, gastroenterology, metabolism, and food science, contributing to the ongoing scientific discussion on lactose and its role in nutrition and health.
