Abstract

Il rischio di trasmissione di COVID-19 o di altre gravi infezioni respiratorie in corso di pandemia può dissuadere i soccorritori laici dal praticare le manovre di rianimazione cardiopolmonare, provocando una riduzione dell’efficacia nel trattamento del soggetto con arresto cardiorespiratorio; ciò può accadere anche nei contesti aziendali, ove è chiamato ad intervenire il lavoratore designato al primo soccorso ai sensi del D.Lgs. 81/2008.


In questa lettera formuliamo alcune considerazioni in tema di adattamento delle linee guida sulla rianimazione cardiopolmonare alle situazioni di pandemia e sulla protezione dei lavoratori designati al primo soccorso.
