Between 2015 and 2016, researchers from Vilnius University initiated a historical, archaeological, and anthropological investigation of a crypt in the Basilian Church of the Holy Trinity, built in the 16th century AD (1). With the consent of the Uniate Church and the Cultural Heritage Department of Lithuania, we decided to organize the crypt to arrange the coffins in an orderly manner and carry out a study of the crypt and its contents.
